Department of Health warns adult social care providers of medicine delays in No Deal Brexit – Barbara Keeley responds

Barbara Keeley MP, Labour’s Shadow Mental Health and Social Care Minister, responding to the Department of Health’s warning to adult social care providers of medicine delays in a No Deal Brexit said:

“Delays to the availability of medicines will have a fundamental impact on social care services. It’s irresponsible for the government to claim that medical supplies won’t be disrupted while telling social care providers that vital medicines could take up to five times longer to be delivered.”

“It’s shameful and irresponsible that Boris Johnson is stubbornly refusing to rule out No Deal. The Tories are putting the health of older and vulnerable people at risk.”
