Head teachers struggling to get vulnerable pupils support
Angela Rayner MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Education, responding to the National Association of Head Teachers’ report on high needs funding, said:
“Tory cuts to school budgets are having a devastating effect across the country, with head teachers struggling to get their most vulnerable pupils the support they need.
“Ministers should listen to school leaders and give them the support they need to help their pupils succeed.
“The next Labour government will create a National Education Service that provides every school with the resources it needs, increasing funding in real terms so that we give every child the best start in life.”
