Louise Haigh responds to rise in serious youth violence
Louise Haigh MP, Labour’s Shadow Policing Minister, responding to the Home Affairs Committee report on the rise in serious youth violence, said:
“There has been a comprehensive failure of Tory leadership in tackling serious violence and their actions have simply not matched the scale of the crisis.
“Austerity has left an entire generation without the support they need to stay out of harm. Boris Johnson should forget about tax cuts for the rich and instead invest in chronically under-funded youth services.”
