Barbara Keeley MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Social Care, commenting on reports about plans for a social care ISA, said:

“The government appears to have learnt nothing from the debacle of its Lifetime ISA plans. This proposal may benefit a limited number of wealthy people but will do nothing to tackle the social care crisis we now face.”
