Role: Local Organiser – Communications and Digital (Cumberland Labour Group) [0.4 FTE]
Salary: £12,898.67 pro rata, with a fixed sum allowance of £478. The full-time equivalent salary would be £32,246.69 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,195.

Location: Remote/Cumbria
Duration: A fixed-term contract until 30 May 2027

Cumberland Labour Group is looking to recruit a Local Organiser – Communications and Digital. The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of winning communications for the Cumberland Labour Group (‘the Labour Group’) and the labour Party in Cumbria and upskill others to do the same in the lead up to 2027 local and mayoral elections.

The successful candidate will have:
– Excellent knowledge of crafting good political communications, the social media and digital landscape
– Experience of working on multi-platform digital campaigns
– Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders
– Video editing skills
