You can be part of Labour’s Tamworth by-election campaign

Campaigners for Sarah Edwards in Tamworth

Labour’s campaign to turn Tamworth red in the upcoming by-election has had an incredible start – but we can’t afford to let up now.

The Tories had a majority of 19,634 at the last general election. A Labour victory would rock Rishi Sunak’s Tory government, sending him a message that the country is ready for change.

That gives us nearly 20,000 reasons to speak to as many voters as we can across Tamworth between now polling day on Thursday 19 October.

For that, we need your help.

Labour campaigners will be out every single day in Tamworth between now and polling day, with our campaign centre open 9am to 7pm daily.

With just two weeks left to go, it’s vital as many Labour supporters as possible are reaching out to voters who are fed up of 13 years of the Tories and are ready for a change.

Organisations across the Labour movement are getting behind our candidate Sarah Edwards by joining her on the doors.

Sarah has pledged to stand up for Tamworth residents hit by the Tory cost of living crisis, to support local businesses and revive the high streets, and deliver a plan to invest in more doctors and GPs.

To support Sarah and send a message to the Tories, you can pop into the campaign office at 6 Victoria Road, Tamworth, B79 7HL, any day between 9am and 7pm and you’ll be warmly welcomed to join a campaign session.

If you can’t make it to Tamworth, please consider chipping in to help the campaign and swing the result for Labour.

Tamworth has been neglected by 13 years of Tory government. It’s time for change. Be part of the campaign that sends a message to Rishi Sunak on Thursday 19 October that Britain is ready for Labour.
