Watch: The Tories don’t see the cost of chaos to working people. But Britain can turn the corner

After 14 years of the Tories, Britain isn’t working.

Mortgages are sky-high. The tax burden is at its highest level for 70 years. NHS waiting lists are leaving people waiting months for vital treatment. And a failure to build homes is leaving families locked out of the housing ladder.

We’ve been let down by a Tory government putting the party before country.

While working people pay the price for this endless chaos, what are Rishi Sunak and his MPs doing? Fighting among themselves, distracted, and not doing their jobs.

No one believes that five more years of a Tory Government will mean anything but more of the same. Because Rishi Sunak is too weak to put the needs of the country first, he doesn’t see the cost of Tory chaos to working people.

But none of this is inevitable. Britain will turn the corner. Keir Starmer will put Britain first.

Labour will end the chaos by launching five national missions to get Britain’s future back.

Labour's missions:

Securing economic growth to boost living standards is our core mission for government.

Labour is determined to make Britain a clean energy superpower. Britain’s energy supply will be more secure if we generate more energy here at home.

Labour is turning the page on economic chaos. Every decision we make in government is guided by our commitment to strong fiscal rules.

Labour is serious about border control. We will deliver a fair immigration system, one that serves our national interest, and restores common sense and control to our borders.

Labour will never compromise on keeping Britain safe.

Labour is determined to get our NHS back on its feet, to make sure it is fit for the future, and to put power in the hands of every patient.

Labour’s mission is to take back our streets by reducing serious harm and raising confidence in the police and criminal justice system.

Labour is breaking down barriers to opportunity, giving every child the best start in life through high-quality early education and giving more families access to childcare.

This isn’t a quick fix. It’s about a decade of national renewal. We’ve turned our country around before, and we will do it again.

Now it’s time for change to bring Britain’s future back.
