National Annual Women's Conference 2021

National Annual Women’s Conference 2021

Online, 26 – 27 June, 2021

Each year National Annual Women’s Conference brings together hundreds of Labour women, politicians, stakeholders and activists from across the country.

Our annual Women’s Conference enables our women members to better participate in policy making and offers the opportunity to share ideas with delegates from across the UK.

Covid-19 is forcing us all to do things differently and the Women’s Conference Arrangements Committee (WCAC) have been working with the NEC and staff colleagues to respond as positively and creatively as we can to these challenges.

Our priority is the safety of our members, staff and visitors, and the need to protect public health. We also want to ensure that a fully democratic, standalone women’s conference does take place this year, after needing to postpone prior plans due to pandemic. The NEC has thus made the decision that National Annual Women’s Conference 2021 will take place online. WCAC supports this decision and with the NEC and Party staff, we came to a unified decision that an online conference, given current circumstances, is the best way forward.

The weekend will include speeches from senior politicians, policy debates, and a range of workshops and training. There will be opportunities to network with politicians and women from across the Labour movement throughout the Conference.
