Deputy Leadership Election 2025
A new Deputy Leader of the Labour Party will be elected on Saturday 25 October.

The following candidates have been validly nominated by the PLP and will now be seeking CLP and affiliate nominations.

CLP nominations
The CLP nominations process will open on Saturday 13 September and close on Saturday 27 September at 11:59pm.
CLPs have been issued with NEC Guidance on the conduct of their nomination meetings.

Affiliate nominations
The affiliate nominations process will open on Saturday 13 September and close on Saturday 27 September at 11:59pm.
Each affiliated organisation will be managing their own nomination procedure.

Hustings at Conference
Members, ex-officio members, and delegate pass holders attending Annual Conference can register to attend the Deputy Leader Hustings on Wednesday 1 October, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Eligible pass holders will receive an invitation to apply for a ticket via ballot.
Your chance to ask a question at Conference
Members can submit questions from Monday 15th September until Tuesday 23rd September here.
Those successful in the ballot will also have the opportunity to submit a question to be asked in person by visiting the Labour Party Stand in the Exhibition Hall and scanning the QR code provided.
The Hustings Chair will select questions from both attendees in the hall and members across the country.
