No deal Brexit would devastate the British farming industry – Sue Hayman
Sue Hayman MP, Labour’s Shadow Environment and Rural Affairs Secretary, responding to news that no-deal Brexit could cost the farming industry £850m a year in lost profits, said:
“Boris Johnson’s approach to Brexit is reckless and shambolic. He has repeatedly dodged questions on the detail of proposed support to our farmers in a disastrous no deal scenario.
“Labour will do everything possible to avert a no deal which would devastate the British farming industry and jeopardise our nation’s food security.”
