About the Academy

The Academy is centered around three core pillars: Listen, Change and Win.

Each pillar is designed to:

  • Build your knowledge of campaign best practice
  • Equip you with practical campaign skills
  • Set key tasks to help you apply what you learn

With just one to two hours of activity per week, you’ll gain the confidence and expertise to help lead local campaigns, engage voters effectively, and work closely with your local Party, councillors, Regional or National Office and MP.

Listen: Understand how to build relationships with target voters year-round, understand their priorities and get the most out of Labour’s supporting technology. It’s all about creating connections that last.

Change: You will learn how to demonstrate real change in your community — showcasing Labour’s values through local action and reaching target voters through multi-channel communications. It’s about showing people the difference a Labour government can make in their lives.

Win: This is where you will learn the strategies and tools used to run powerful election campaigns, from data targeting to mobilisation and multi-channel optimisation. Winning isn’t just about securing votes; it’s about bringing Labour’s vision to life for the people we serve.

Pillar one: listen

The Listen pillar focuses on connecting with voters and understanding their priorities through best-practice techniques.

You can sign up to all pillar one sessions here. We want to encourage to attend as many of the Academy sessions as possible, but in the event you are unable, you will find recordings here.
