Candidate Statements

I grew up in a working-class family, raised by a single mother. Born with deformed feet, I spent 16 years receiving care at Great Ormond Street Hospital to ensure I could walk. It was the Labour Party’s policies that protected my family from falling into poverty due to my medical condition. My mum was given a council flat, which allowed us to thrive as a family despite our challenges.

I believe it’s time for the wealthiest in our society—those who own millions and billions, particularly in assets within the UK—to contribute their fair share through taxation. The gap between rich and poor is widening, and without intervention, the cost of living crisis will only worsen over the next four years.

My greatest fear is that this economic hardship will pave the way for the far-right to push a racist and bigoted agenda, undermining the progress we’ve made as a society. I also worry that the welfare state, which has been a lifeline for families like mine, will be dismantled by the rise of a new right-wing movement—even within Labour itself. Desperation could drive traditional Labour supporters to align with these forces, abandoning the principles of fairness and equality that once united us. My date of birth is 13/09/1974. I’m 50.

Faheem Naseer

L3136057

Candidate Statements

I’m Faheem, and I’m standing for the CAC (General Section) because I believe we need forward-thinking, results-driven leadership that embraces fresh strategies and amplifies member voices. I bring hands-on experience in grassroots organizing, policy development, and community engagement—skills I plan to leverage to make our Party more inclusive and responsive to the evolving political landscape.

If elected, I’ll work to modernize our processes, streamline communication between the grassroots and the Party’s top leadership, and ensure every member’s perspective carries weight. My promise is simple: to champion transparency, foster real collaboration, and deploy cutting-edge solutions that energize both our base and new supporters.

By choosing me, you’re selecting a bold, dynamic leader who isn’t afraid to shake things up. Let’s create a unified, progressive Labour that’s equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. Vote Faheem for CAC – General Section, and together, we’ll drive innovative change that moves our Party forward.

Adam L Davies

Candidate Statements

I am standing for election to the Conference Arrangements Committee to ensure our Party Conference remains a platform where members’ voices are heard, and democracy thrives.

As an active member of Newport East, I have seen firsthand the importance of grassroots participation in shaping Labour’s future. The conference is a vital space where members come together to set the agenda and priorities for our movement. If elected, I will work to ensure all CLPs, regardless of size or resources, can fully participate in this process.

I am committed to:

Fairness and Transparency: Guaranteeing that Conference arrangements are clear, accessible, and fair for all.

Member Empowerment: Ensuring time is allocated to discuss the motions and issues that matter most to members.

Inclusion: Championing diversity so all voices, particularly those from underrepresented groups, are heard.
Our annual Conference is central to Labour’s democratic traditions, and I am determined to protect and strengthen this. I would be honoured to represent you on the CAC and ensure that members remain at the heart of Labour’s decision-making.

Thank you for your support.

Gabriel Yates

Candidate Statements

As CLP Youth Officer for St Helens South and Whiston, I nominate myself for the CLP section. As a young person, I see how the far-right can appeal to young people and I believe by creating a sense of community for young people, we can create a generation that believes in Democratic Socialism and the key moral values of a strong society. All young people deserve opportunity to achieve regardless of background.
Many Thanks, Gabe Yates

Chloe Adduocchio

L1948250

Candidate Statements

My name is Chloe Adduocchio, I’m 33 years old (34 in June), and I am blind. I live with a partially blind and deaf woman and have a son who is partially deaf. I have firsthand experience navigating life with disabilities and supporting others in similar circumstances.

I attended a specialist school and college in Exeter for blind people, which deepened my understanding of the barriers and opportunities faced by disabled individuals. I believe in the importance of accessibility and inclusivity within our party and beyond. As a CAC Disabled Members Representative, I would ensure that our structures, events, and decision-making processes prioritize the needs of disabled members. I am committed to listening to and amplifying your voices, using my lived experience to drive meaningful change.

Together, we can ensure that our party is truly representative and inclusive, with disabled members at the heart of our movement. Thank you for considering me for this role.

Candidate Statements

The reason I want you to support my application as a disabled member is because I have a number of disabilities both seen and hidden .sadly disabled people are still treated as second class citizens and those unable to work and get welfare benefits are treated as lazy and not worthy of welfare benefits -no government ever in UK has ever tackled the issues facing disabled workers and people in general -I will fight to change the unacceptable Labour Party policies being introduced by the current Labour government on welfare reform and social care -we are and should be better then the tories and provide support to disabled workers and people in society .I am wanting normal members like myself to be able to win elections on the NEC and seek CLP support -things needs to change and we need to make that change happen in the current Parliament before next General election -we are one of the worlds strong economies and have the funds to build and deliver a welfare state for everyone -especially those unable to work or can only do limited work -Vote for me and nominate me -I will promise to say it like it is and not be bothered about upsetting people because I say it like it is

Candidate Statements

My name is Muhammad Ali, I’m a CLP TULO and BLP Secretary from Birmingham and I’m proud to be offering something different to the NCC! I don’t know about you, but I’m not the greatest fan of internal ballots such as these being dominated by factionalism and slates of candidates. This should be especially true for a committee who’s function should be completely fair, open and transparent, without any political or factional bias. Therefore, I will not be seeking endorsement from, or endorsing, any other candidates or groups.

As a member of Birmingham City Council’s Independent Remuneration Panel, and with a history of sitting on Academic Misconduct Panels as a Students’ Union Sabbatical Officer, I have more than proven my ability to come to fair and reasoned decisions when confronted with conflicting viewpoints and large amounts of complex evidence.

If elected, I promise to uphold the our shared values of solidarity, tolerance and respect, and work to “ensure an inclusive, safe and constructive environment” – just as stated in the Member Pledge we all have agreed to. Thank you for reading this, and thank you for your vote!

As someone who has lived experience of navigating barriers faced by women, particularly disabled women, I am passionate about creating a more equal and inclusive society. I’ve dedicated much of my life to advocating for equality, fairness, and representation.
