Regional Organiser – London
Location: Labour Party Regional Office – London
Salary: £46,503.83 (gross) per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,608. There is the ability to progress to £ 50,726.71 over the next 2 years.
This role also attracts a car allowance of £5000 (gross per annum), subject to internal checks.
Length: A fixed-term contract until the next UK General Election
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Organiser – London. The post-holder will be responsible for building capacity and structure to enable local activists to deliver effective campaigns with the specific aim of the winning elections at all levels, alongside working to ensure the effective operation of Labour Party structures within the Region.
The successful candidate will have: Experience of local media engagement; The ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders including Members of Parliament, trade union leaders, council leaders, Labour Group leaders and NEC & REC members; Ability to motivate and provide inspiring leadership to volunteers and campaigners; and the ability to organise an election campaign.
