Head of Events and Visits
Salary: £61,734.17 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,153. There is the ability to progress to £68,343.99 over the next 2 years.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Head of Visits and Events. The post-holder will be responsible for specified Labour Party events, including overall site management of Annual Conference, ensuring that all events promote the Party’s image and political message effectively. The postholder is responsible for managing the strategy, logistical, operational, and budgetary requirements of all Frontbench Visits and Events, ensuring they contribute to the delivery of national Labour Party campaigns in accordance with the party’s strategic plan.
The successful candidate will have:
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of the structure and organisation of the Labour Party
- Experience of working on events from concept to completion, including events of national significance
- Strong experience of people management
- Ability to plan, prioritise, delegate and schedule work in relation to events
