Time to Tell the Truth – Labour publishes 60 questions that Boris Johnson must answer

Ahead of Boris Johnson’s press conference on Friday morning, the Labour party has published 60 questions that the Prime Minister must answer, including on his racism, on his sexism, on the Conservative party’s record, on his Ministers, on his campaign, on the NHS and on Jennifer Arcuri.

Questions for Boris Johnson include: Do you still think that children of single mothers are ill-raised, ignorant, aggressive and illegitimate; Do you still think global warming is a “primitive fear without foundation”?; Do you support a free and fair press apart from Channel 4 and the Daily Mirror?; When was the last time you spoke to Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s husband and what are you personally doing to help secure her release; and Where is Jacob Rees-Mogg?

Andrew Gwynne, Labour’s National Campaign Co-ordinator, said:

“Last night Boris Johnson failed to show up at the climate debate and sent along his dad instead.

Boris Johnson has been hiding from scrutiny to avoid being held to account for a decade of Conservative austerity and his litany of lies, failure and bigotry.

“Boris Johnson may think he is born to rule but if he can’t face the people and tell the truth then he can’t govern the country.”
