We’ve lost a decade of investment in our telecoms infrastructure – Tracy Brabin
Tracy Brabin MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, responding to the Government’s announcement of a shared rural network, said:
“More than one-third of the country lacks adequate 4G or broadband coverage. We need to further ramp up investment in 4G, full-fibre and next-generation technologies such as 5G to give everyone the modern standard of living they deserve.
“Under the Conservatives, we’ve lost a decade of investment in our telecoms infrastructure. Families and small businesses in rural communities across the country need more support.”
